Turbos are better for auto since the trans will keep engine under strain. Super chargers better for stick car. I have one turbo and two supercharged vehicles I can stop laughing at him saying under boost it lifts the heads. 😂. Man if it lifts the heads you will know it. Trust me. You will know 😂

Cams are different between manuals and automatics. His cam's power ban is much higher and longer than yours. Because he can compensate for lower end by using his clutch. You're automatic cam, it's different, more power download. But i'm sure both of you have different cams Lil

E-85 burn quicker because the ethanol content is higher it’s like taking a lighter and setting alcohol on fire just to watch it evaporate quick it’s better to use a flex option on high hp motors because the E-85 or whatever E you run would be for playtime and the 93 would be for mileage

Where did you buy this tuner ? There’s many different types

You can work with your tune, and make the tranny behave more sedately at low rpm and low throttle opening. Before I put a cam in my vehicle, I spent a month tweaking the tranny, and my entire goal was to make it shift HARD when you floor it, but when cruising around make it so my wife didn't even notice I'd been messing with it. It's not something you're going to be able to get a professional tuner to do on a dyno because 1. it takes a ton of time, 2. what's "too firm" is entirely subjecive. But it is possible to do.

Had a scat pack try to outrun my model y long range (no boost) exiting a two lane roundabout…he lost big time. Then he illegally passed on the right after I slowed down. Finally, he decided to turn down another road, because his car’s inability to keep up bruised his ego. Slow challenger scat packs are meant to look good and lose to EV’s. 😆

Damn good video brother.... I would like to add a few things..... I recommend replacing all the lifts when you do a cam swap - a Aggressive cam Profile is gonna work your aged lifters a lil harder.... to get all you can out of a cam swap - I would recommend pulling the heads and having them worked ( ported / shaved / bigger valves ) long tube headers like mentioned - intake swap or modded - upgrade the exhaust system itself / air filter ( cai ) - the key is ( like mentioned ) a good tune.... the top end of any engine is all about getting air in and out. Efficiently and as fast as possible....

If your running the 180 Thermostat then you also need to change the reservoir cap because thats all related. maybe they already did that for you because when I ran the 180 my car actually ran 2 degrees hotter until someone asked me "and you changed the reservoir cap too right?" thats a pressure release valve spring set to relieve at such and such pressure determined in part with the original thermostat

If you dont get a proper tune when you change or add anything.. your engine isnt going to run right. you will in some cases lose power.. Side note the biggest impact for loss of power is the intake and heads since you already have long tubes your 1 3rd there.. With a better intake and port matched heads you smoking by those SRT's with what you already have.. They are from factory downtubed via the intake and heads to be almost 100hp less than SRT its legit how they package each series.. sxt to RT to SRT etc Induction is the biggest
